Ray Tracing 3D Wallpapers for OPPO Mobile
As the Creative Director for the OPPO Mobile project, I led the creation of five exclusive Ray Tracing 3D wallpapers for their flagship mobile devices. This project, unveiled at GDC 2022, highlighted OPPO’s innovative application of ray tracing technology, simulating real-time light behavior for enhanced visual depth and realism.

As Creative Director, I worked with the OPPO Design team to define the creative vision for the wallpapers. The goal was to use ray tracing technology to showcase visually compelling designs that would enhance the user experience by bringing dynamic lighting and realistic reflections to life.

User Experience & Interaction
Led the design and creation of five distinct 3D wallpapers, each with a unique theme, and directed the entire process of 3D asset creation for each wallpaper, ensuring all models were optimized for mobile screens while fully utilizing OPPO’s ray tracing capabilities.
Kinetic Architecture: Explored movement and structure, emphasizing light interaction with moving architectural elements.
Architecture and Prisma: Focused on the interplay between structural forms and light, with reflections and refractions inspired by prisms.
Geometrics: A minimalist approach featuring geometric shapes, where light and shadow interactions highlight depth and complexity.
Interior Design: Created an immersive space, blending interior design elements with dynamic lighting to evoke warmth and realism.
Oversaw the creative strategy to ensure that users could interact with the wallpapers. This included designing touch-responsive features, where users could rotate and manipulate elements within the scene, providing a unique and engaging real-time interaction with the wallpapers.
